This was a Pro-Bono interior design project for the Pregnancy Resource Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was a labor of love for the participants who provided free or reduced cost materials and labor for this non-profit organization. A complete gut and renovation of the existing space created an atmosphere of dignity and warmth for the underserved in our community, where the PRC can provide free counseling, food and clothing to support local families. A shopping area was added adjacent to the office space to allow for free distribution of clothing, formula and diapers. Furniture purchased at deep discounting from a local furniture showroom, as well as 25 pieces of artwork donated by local artists and galleries complete the space. Learn more: www.prcforlife.com
